項目簡介  Project Description :

我們設計傾向創造一個人們喜愛和擁有回憶和文化“地標”。將地塊填滿商業空間不一定是成功的商業方針，反而我們特意保留空間來營造一個社區文化 — 一個人們聚會的地點，一個人們聚餐的場所，一個人們放鬆身心並享受生活的自由空間。這個零售綜合體將會重新展示昔日歷史城區「里」的生活風情。

設計元素靈感來自周邊歷史城區遺留下紋理，如清拆遺留下的舊磚牆，舊有的門框石，舊有房屋的木結構以及歷史城區的寬大台階。我們引入現代設計語言，同時利用熟悉的材質，營造一種熟悉感又有現代感的新地標。

項目中間預留一個「自由空間」-它能為商業空間提供陽光與空氣，也為項目注入無窮的可能性。自由空間可成為音樂表演場地，宴會空間，藝術展示場景和社區凝聚點；這就是零售綜合體的心臟。

通過創造人們喜愛的動態自由空間；它將成為城區復興的媒介，亦會成為成功的商業項目。

Create a “destination” with trace of memories and sense of culture that people loved and remember is our design intent. Instead of filling the site with commercial units, we preserve free space to create a community - a place for people to meetup, a place for people to dine togeth​er, a place for people to chill and enjoy life.  It is a living community [里] as in the old days.    

Design elements are inspired by its context - its partially demolished wall, its old brick texture, its wooden housing structure and stone steps in historical city of Macau.  There is a sense of familiarity yet a sense of modernity when walking into this destination.  We introduce modern design language yet utilize familiar materials.  

Having a free space in the middle, it offers daylight deep into the site and it also creates possibilities for creativities to happen.  The free space in the middle will be a place for music performance, for banquet, for social event, for art installation, and for community uses; it is the heart of this destination.  By creating a dynamic space that people loved, it will be a catalyst for city regeneration and will be a successful retail complex.
